Last updated: 2026-08-21

This Privacy Policy describes how JewishInvite.com ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our electronic card services and website. By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly and technical information automatically. Examples include:

2. How We Use Information

3. Google User Data

If you choose to import contacts from your Google account, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly scope. This grants read-only access to your Google Contacts; we cannot create, modify, or delete anything in your Google account.

We access only the names, email addresses, and phone numbers needed to let you select recipients for an invitation. We use this data solely to populate your recipient list and to deliver invitations you choose to send. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except to the service providers that deliver your invitations on our behalf.

Imported contacts are stored only in association with your account, with contact details encrypted at rest, and are deleted when you remove them, when you delete your account, or within 90 days after the associated event has ended, whichever comes first. You can revoke our access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and you may request deletion of imported contacts by emailing privacy@jewishinvite.com.

JewishInvite.com's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. These include encrypting sensitive contact data at rest, serving the site over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and restricting access to personal data. While no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, we take appropriate measures to protect your data and to address security issues promptly if they arise.

Support access. Authorized administrators may access your account, including viewing it as you would ("view as"), solely to provide support, investigate issues, or comply with legal obligations. Such access is limited (for example, making payments and sending messages to your guests are disabled during support sessions) and is recorded in an internal audit log. We do not access your account for any other purpose.

7. Your Responsibilities

8. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services (payment processors, hosting, email services, analytics). Those providers have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their actions or practices.
